I am not sure if we are overdoing this by adding a full new command.
I think there are a couple cleaner options:
* Directly modify the State Store (kind of bad).
* Introduce and expiration constant like we do with the namenodes where we mark
them as EXPIRED and some Router deletes it.
I would go for the second one.
