I'd be completely OK with replacing this particular patch with the one that 
just removes all the jsvc business from the build and relies on jsvc being 
available as system-level dependency (same goes for co-bundling of snappy as 
well).

I'd love for others to chime in, though and confirm that this is, indeed the 
consensus of the community.
