If fuse-dfs cannot be built, it is currently silently ignored. This means that
the native build will work fine on non-Linux systems or systems where the fuse
libraries are not installed. It might be worth re-introducing -Pfuse as a way
to force the build to fail if the fuse-dfs libraries can't be found. But
that's a separate issue from this JIRA.
