I don't think content length = 0 is actually true. I will fix that.
Good point on the REST API availability for concat; I'll add it as a note.
You will get a standard Hadoop remote exception if it fails during concat -- I
will add that to the docs though.
I was looking for where to add a concat test; thanks for pointing out the file;
I will add in a test as I did for webHDFS.
I'll upload another patch shortly.
