Hi Jimmy, I think you might have attached the wrong patch? Also, a recent email
thread on hdfs-dev concluded that we are going to deprecate and remove
BackupNode, so I think it'd be good to put this test somewhere else. Upon
thinking about it a little more, I think the easiest approach is adding some
metrics checks to a test in TestCheckpoint, since it's already triggering
checkpoints for you.
