I'm attaching version 4 of the patch. This approach uses multiple iterations.
I also removed {{AclSpecTransformationState}} and {{MaskCalculator}}. The net
effect is increased code duplication inside each {{AclTransformation}} method,
but perhaps it's more reaable.
[~wheat9], can you let me know whether you find version 3 or version 4 more
readable? Thanks.
