The topics ranged from very specific MARC fields to new Library of Congress vocabularies, such LCDGT and LCGFT. Additionally, there were sessions Dear All, I want to let you know that this year the Cataloging Committee hosted 5 Cataloging Forums. The topics ranged from very specific MARC fields to new Library of Congress vocabularies, such LCDGT and LCGFT. Additionally, there were sessions related to rare book cataloging and to understanding specific Hebrew grammar rules and how they relate to Romanization (although this session might have been a wee bit over the top). The sessions were : 1. Introduction to Hebrew Paleography – session led by Judith Olszowy-Schlager (July 28, 2022). This session was a carry from the previous year. 2. LCDGT Headings – session led by Veronica Ranieri and Haim Gottschalk (November 11, 2022) 3. MARC 510 Notes Field – session led by Haim Gottschalk (February 27, 2023) 4. Understanding the Rules of Sheva and Kamats – session led by Ben Outhwaite (March 17) 5. Provenance in Rare Book Cataloging (MARC 561) – session led by Louis Meiselman (May 18, 2023) Altogether, the Cataloging Committee hosted 8 Cataloging Forums in two years. Additionally, many individuals began viewing the recordings. Thank you. Past Forums were: 1. The LC classifications of BM vs. KBM (November 23, 2021) 2.
