Thanks, Jasmin.

I had been looking at ClassWeb, but I guess that's a quirk of the system,
that it only appears in the Name headings, not in Subject headings. Beth
Rivkah does appear in Subject headings, though that refers to a specific
building. It's interesting to me that "Jewish religious schools" and
"Jewish day schools" are subjects but "Beth Jacob Schools" is a name, with
a capital S. They're more in the same category, since "Beth Jacob" now
denotes a type of school, not any specific school or group of schools. And
"Jewish religious schools" / "Jewish day schools" can be geographically
subdivided, but if it's a name heading rather than a subject, does that
limit the ability to add a location? It also allows "Beth Jacob Schools" to
be used inappropriately, as in OCLC records 1005619808 or 1504735604, where
"Beth Jacob Schools" is listed in the 710 as an issuing body of the work,
or in record 1263969235 where it's in the 110 as a corporate author! Which
isn't possible, because "Beth Jacob Schools" is not a single unit or body
past the 1950s at the latest.

(As below, I'm not suggesting any action be taken, I'm only musing/asking.
I wouldn't suggest any changes or new headings until I've had more practice
anyway, which is why I'm writing to this group informally rather than
submitting any proposals formally.)

Someone had mentioned a committee at some point, but in any case, I meant
the funnel. And I wasn't suggesting a change to Sarah Shnirer's name, only
mentioning that because it felt super weird *to me* to write it that way.
Many things that are established in LC are spelled differently than I'm
used to - that was an aside, not the main part of what I was saying.

And thanks - I am doing things on Wikidata, but I'm sticking to my lane and
working on American Haredi kidlit authors, illustrators, and publishers,
which is what I know best and can provide references for easily. I'll leave
Bais Yaakov to someone with better knowledge of the necessary sources.
