Dear All,

The Education Committee is developing cataloging courses as part of the AJL
Classroom Cataloging Workshop Series.

Currently on the table are:

Introduction to Descriptive Cataloging
History of the Hebrew Book
Introduction to Subject Cataloging (this might be a two part course)
Introduction to Provenance Research

Each course would be 5 sessions long, with each session being 2 hours.

Below is a link to a survey to get a sense, a pulse of cataloging courses you
might be interested.

Thank you.

Have a happy and healthy 2026.

All my best,
