What font did you use in the original file? The PDF is using helvetica, which does not have Hebrew. Can you attach the original file? I know that when OpenOffice uses font-fallback, and then you export to PDF (using the font which you do not have), many times you get strange results, as the proper font does not get embedded. I have a bug which covers a usability issue regarding font subsitution: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=23402 I am consiudering filing a seprate bug for this PDF behavier, althugh I am not sure about it- it might be prevent once the usability bug gets fixed. What do you think?
