My letters seem to reply only to the person whom I answer and doesn't
automatically go to this forum. Why? This is forwarded .

I found out how to change the screen view from 140% to any other size. Go to
"view">"zoom". There one can change the size of the document size as viewed
on the screen. As I said before, this does not alter the actual size of the
document.
What I haven't found out is how to make a particular size the default view
size (say 75% - which is a size I like). The size seems to be defaulted at
140% for documents converted from word.
My real problems with word converted documents are with pictures and things
other than type. There the conversion is FAR from good.
You can post my mail to the Open Office IL mailing list. Isn't this list the
OO IL mail list? If not how does one join?

Hi Errol!

thanks! looks like you got it.
1. So you're not sure how, but you're viewing Word docs at 75%? (how did it
get from the default 140% to 75%?) 2. Can I post your mail (or perhaps you
prefer to) on Open Office IL mailing list? perhaps people there will have
the answer. surely they're supposed to as chief porting/deveoplers of the
OO-IL project are subscribed there

Thanks again :-)
Boaz.
