When I had to send it out to my client, I SAVEd as a MS Word DOC file, but I
found that the new file totally threw out the Ivrit, and wherever there was
a Hebrew letter, it now had a question mark. Thus I got things like ?????
???? ????????.

Well, we need more information in order to help. First, from the OpenOffice side: * What version of OpenOffice are you using? * Do you have the option "enable CTL" marked in the preferences? * What word version did you save the file as? * Can you open the DOC file you created in OpenOffice? What did you get?

Now, the MSOffice side:
* What version of Word does the client have?
* On what version of Windows is his Word installed?
* Can he read other Hebrew word files?

You can also email me the file in private, and I can check to see if I can reproduce the problem.

Shoshannah
