The current makefiles do not support this, indeed. But I believe
that the modification should not be overly complicated, the
dependencies are captured in quite structured way.
Yes, according to my recent experiments, it is possible to take one of
our uspace tasks off the tree (eg. init) and modify USPACE_PREFIX in
its Makefile accordingly. Provided that it points to an already built
HelenOS tree, the off-the-tree component will build fine.
