Hi,
even with Ryan's detailed description i am still not able to configure
version 3.0.5 on solaris10.
Configure with:
./configure --prefix=/local/cfengine-3.0.5/SunOS-5.10-`uname -p`
--with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl --without-sql
aborts with:
checking OpenSSL Version... OK
checking for main in -lcrypto... yes
checking for main in -lpcre... no
configure: error: Cannot find PCRE
All necessary packages, including pcre, should be installed:

Helping advices or binary packages are very welcome ..
