Since you asked ;) I'm not certain that your methodology is efficient and it certainly does not seem very Cfengine like to me. Why are your agents polling SVN? Why do you use the runagent for pushing so much? One of Cfengine's best features is that is is autonomous. Once you set it up you seldom need to look after it.
