Very interesting stuff. We've been doing some research into vm's as well, but not down the road you're taking, although it's something we would like to do, only the provisioning would be on our blade servers, and not an Amazon EC2. One thing I'm about to do is test a distribution server that is running on a vm CentOS Linux instance. Or, maybe Red Hat. Most likely it will be CentOS first, and we'll go from there.
