Currently Cf-execd does not reread a change policy. So, if you change it's schedule it must be restarted before the change will take affect. I am in the habit of restarting all CF related processes when inputs are changed to be sure that nothing is overlooked. Earlier in CF 3's history there were some memory leak problems. Many were in the habit of restarting all Cf services regularly to keep leaks under control.
