Thank a lot Neil I tried your solution but unfortunately the outcome is still the same: Installations succeeds but not reports. I run the cf-agent with verbose mode and I noticed the below: (outcome cannot be promised by cf-agent) This looks like the yum installs the package successfully but cfengine does not know this ? This is the extract of the verbose output: - skip - - skip - - skip - sakis-cf3> Q: yum -y install mc ...:Installed: sakis-cf3> Q: yum -y install mc ...: mc.i386 1:4.6.1a-35.el5 sakis-cf3> Q: yum -y install mc ...: sakis-cf3> Q: yum -y install mc ...:Complete! sakis-cf3> Q: yum -y install mc ...: sakis-cf3> Bulk package schedule execution ok for mc (outcome cannot be promised by cf-agent) sakis-cf3> -> Update schedule... sakis-cf3> -> Patch schedule... sakis-cf3> -> Verify schedule... sakis-cf3> - skip - - skip - - skip - sakis-cf3> sakis-cf3> . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . sakis-cf3> Skipping whole next promise (package "mc" has been installed), as var-context mc_repaired is not relevant sakis-cf3> . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . sakis-cf3> _______________________________________________ Help-cfengine mailing list [email protected] https://cfengine.org/mailman/listinfo/help-cfengine
