I agree with you - but the yum package manager is commonly used and we need to work with it and its limitations :(:(:( Installing packages without being able to set certain classes accordingly it is a major issue IMHO I was wondering if the yum_rpm from cfengine_stdlib.cf could be modified to suppress the limitations of yum.
