Ok, I guess that makes some sense. The passwd_combined file on this host currently contains 974 entries - which is happily one of our larger hosts. That seems like an awfully low threshold, though. :) Is the limitation constrained to a single bundle's scope, or is it a problem having too many variables across the whole policy? I'll get to work building and packaging up some 3.2.0 binaries for AIX, I guess. But for now, I'll just exclude the largest hosts until I can get the new binaries deployed.
