That's fantastic, it works very well ! Thank you very much again because
I searched a lot of time ! (=> don't use cygwin)
You're welcome. I'm glad I could help you so easily.
Could you perhaps suggest a good place in the Emacs distribution to
mention the GnuWin32 site? If you ever looked for that in some of the
Emacs files, telling us what were those files would be a good starting
point.
TIA
Thank you very much for all the answers and the discussion.
I understand that the choice is not so easy. I will use the GnuWin32
programs because it works presently on my computer. When I have some
time, I will try cygwin according to the Stephen Leake's solution.
I am newbie with Emacs : I discover it by myself, so I think it would be
a good idea to mention the GnuWin32 site in the same time of the link
for downloading the emacs program because I believed that all the
programs were in the emacs program.
The Xemacs site presents the same problem : it doesn't mention the
GnuWin32 site when we download the Xemacs program.
I bought Emacs in 24 hours (SAMS Teach Yourself). There is something
about cygwin (very short and without explanation about the installation)
but nothing about the GnuWin32 site.
Thank you again for all the answers.
