Unfortunately the error message you copied and pasted is meanless.
It just show that you got an error when building the libMRML.
More complete message is needed.

But here is a better way, if you are under Ubuntu or Debian, use "apt-get install gnuift". Otherwise, use the following version, which I'm sure that the version is good :

http://medgift.unige.ch/gift-prerequisites-0.11.tar.gz
http://medgift.unige.ch/gift-0.1.15b.tar

And make sure that before install gift-0.1.15b.tar, the gift-prerequisites-0.11.tar.gz is correctly installed.

Hi, I'm University student in Japan.
I'm studying about content based image retrieval.
I tried to install and run GIFT, but I got errors below,when i typed make.
