Ragia, please kindly get the code from CVS. I am willing to help you, but I would like to get something in return. What I would get in return from you is that I know things work for you compiled from current CVS.
You can do so by doing: cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/sources/gift co *gift* in the command line. Make sure that you have g++, and cvs installed, when you start. Also please get the GIFT prerequisites. BTW what is your background? Cheers, Wolfgang 2009/6/27 Ragia Ibrahim <[email protected]> > Hi > to do as showen in the install file I run configure and its ok > but when runing make > I got the following > > make[3]: Entering directory `/home/ragia/Desktop/gift-0.1.14/libMRML/cc' > source='getLibNameFromFileName.cc' object='getLibNameFromFileName.lo' > libtool=yes \ > depfile='.deps/getLibNameFromFileName.Plo' > tmpdepfile='.deps/getLibNameFromFileName.TPlo' \ > depmode=none /bin/bash ../../depcomp \ > /bin/bash ../../libtool --mode=compile g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. > -I../.. -DHAS_BOOL -DLINK_DYNAMICALLY -I../.. -DEF_PROTECT_BELOW=1 > -DEF_PROTECT_FREE -DEF_PROTECT_ALIGNMENT=8 -DEF_FILL=42 -c -o > getLibNameFromFileName.lo getLibNameFromFileName.cc > mkdir .libs > g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -DHAS_BOOL -DLINK_DYNAMICALLY -I../.. > -DEF_PROTECT_BELOW=1 -DEF_PROTECT_FREE -DEF_PROTECT_ALIGNMENT=8 -DEF_FILL=42 > -c getLibNameFromFileName.cc -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/getLibNameFromFileName.o > ../../libtool: line 1246: g++: command not found > make[3]: *** [getLibNameFromFileName.lo] Error 1 > make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/ragia/Desktop/gift-0.1.14/libMRML/cc' > make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 > make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/ragia/Desktop/gift-0.1.14/libMRML' > make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 > make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ragia/Desktop/gift-0.1.14' > make: *** [all] Error 2 > ra...@ubuntu:~/Desktop/gift-0.1.14$ > > > > what shall i do now ? > thanks in advance > > Ragia > > > > > ------------------------------ > <http://windowslive.com/explore?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_t1_allup_explore_012009> > ------------------------------ > Invite your mail contacts to join your friends list with Windows Live > Spaces.
