Emacs-21.3 and auctex-11.55 under Fedora Core 3. My problem is that when I go to visit a .tex file I get the following error:
File mode specification error: (wrong-number-of-arguments #[(face color &optional frame) "\303 \304 \206 \305$\207" [face frame color set-face-attribute :foreground unspecified] 5 511591 (read-face-and-attribute :foreground)] 5) I'm not sure what to do with this.
