keeping up with Lily

LilyPond 1.2.4  - guile 1.3.2 fixes.

Do I need to upgrade from guile 1.3-6 now?
If I do, will the .SPEC file and patches you sent me for it work for the current 
guiles?
What do I do to get texinfo ready (from RH5.3)?
