Now exactly what are you suggesting? That I haven't checked the manual? I have. That I haven't searched the output of "gcc --help -v"? I have. Maybe your problem is that you don't recognize the warning. That's fine; but my question contains adequate google fodder for you to look it up. (Though not sufficient google fodder to find the flag I'm looking for; if I were in possession of that, I wouldn't be asking here.) The question was targeted at persons who are familiar with this warning. I really didn't expect persons unfamiliar with it to be able to offer useful comments.
