emacs menu-bar problems

Hi Guix,

1.

I installed

emacs-ivy       0.14.2
emacs-ivy-rich  0.1.7
emacs-swiper    0.14.2
emacs-counsel   0.14.2

but opening emacs
I get an error message:

gfp@Tuxedo ~$ emacs &

gfp@Tuxedo ~$ Unable to activate package ‘swiper’.
Required package ‘ivy-0.14.2’ is unavailable
Unable to activate package ‘counsel’.
Required package ‘ivy-0.14.2’ is unavailable

after installing in emacs: bookmark+ and menu-bar+ from Drew Adams

the menu-bar does not open by using mouse.
If I use F10 the menu-bar opens.

if using mouse the minibuffer says:

"Selection owner couldn´t convert string"
"waiting for reply.."

sometimes after some time the menu-bar opens.

In opening emacs, there are no error messages,
no backtrace...
it seems everything is o.k.

3.
If I don´t use bookmark+ and menu-bar+ in my emacs init.el file
this problem doesn´t occur.
But as I said, starting emacs with bookmark+ and menu-bar+
there are no error messages.

Any suggestions are welcome

I found only one instance on the web where somebody had this problem with an org.file, but there was no solution mentioned.
