Re: emacs menu-bar problems

1.
I removed all 4 packages from guix.

emacs-ivy       0.14.2
emacs-ivy-rich  0.1.7
emacs-swiper    0.14.2
emacs-counsel   0.14.2

The error comes still up on the terminal emulator:

(emacs:1533): Gtk-WARNING **: 16:16:32.712: no trigger event for menu popup

(emacs:1533): Gtk-WARNING **: 16:16:32.733: no trigger event for menu popup

and also in emacs itself especially in the "scratch buffer".

"waiting for reply from selection owner"

this message didn´t appear this time:
"Selection owner couldn´t convert string"

AND EVERYTHING WORKS WELL. I can use my menu-bar with the mouse.
It seems this package created the problem.

BUT still, even after removing all 4 packages from guix:

How can this be because those packages don´t exist any more?

May be I have to do a "system config reconfigure..."
 in order to get rid of this message.

NOW I COMMENTED OUT (I don´t know if this is the right word) in my init.el file in Emacs the "menu-bar+" package

after installing in emacs: bookmark+ and menu-bar+ from Drew Adams

The later is not yet a guix package, right ?

yes, both are not a guix package, but packages for emacs.
