Have been using Trisquel 11, which is released with GCC-12 and Emacs-27.1 - both lagging well behind the current GCC-15.1 and Emacs-30.1.
Handling all the required dependencies when building GCC-15.1 and Emacs-30.1 from source is becoming hell on earth. Luis Guzmán has suggested using Guix. In the download page it is stated that GNU Guix can be installed as an additional package manager on top of an installed Linux-based system. Can the guix package manager help install GCC-15.1 and Emacs-30.1 on my Trisquel system without the hassle I am experiencing?
