remove MATE Desktop

Hi,

1.
I did a
"guix remove mate"
and every additional Mate package

2.
I removed the
"service mate-desktop-service-type"
from my config.scm

3.
I updated my system with
sudo guix system reconfigure /etc/config.scm

4. removed not used package, in the hope to remove mate as well
guix gc

5.
started again my laptop

6.
I added:
"service mate-desktop-service-type"
into my config.scm

7.
guix install mate

8.
again I updated my system with
sudo guix system reconfigure /etc/config.scm

and it did not download "mate" but it took the mate I have just removed.


9.
rebooted my laptop

10.
opened mate desktop



May be that would help to restore the Mate Desktop.

I didn´t want that this happens, but that it takes mate from the Download server in order to get the original version. and it failed again like the last 6 month, not useable, because no menu, no chance to open any package. What can I do to remove mate completely and download it again, as a new installation?
