difference between hard linking and disk space

Hi,

what does this difference mean?
On my harddisk I got approx. 100 GB free space after gc.

after running guix gc:

note: currently hard linking saves  414.39 GiB
guix gc: 101 GiB wurden freigegeben/were given free
