Hi,
what does this difference mean?
On my harddisk I got approx. 100 GB free space after gc.
after running guix gc:
note: currently hard linking saves 414.39 GiB
guix gc: 101 GiB wurden freigegeben/were given free
thanks

Hi Gottfried
I'm simplifying a little but hard linking means that two or more
filenames point to the same content in your hard drive.
This means, you could have two or more paths in your system but only use
the very same piece of storage.
This reduces storage usage, because it is reused.
I hope this helps understand the concept.
