The current version of musescore in Guix is 4.6.5. Do you really need an older one? If yes, then the safest approach would be to use the time-machine together with "guix shell musescore". Trying to mix an old musescore recipe with newer packages from Guix (from your description it sounds like what you are trying to do) will create trouble. Andreas
