This is not the right list. This list is for discussing issues and
problems with GNU make.
Your problem is with the build/installation of GDBM. If there's no
GDBM-specific lists, then try the gnu-utils or bug-utils lists, which
are general-purpose lists for GNU utilities which don't have their own
lists.
