Hi

I have used Solaris make before which has the system V feature of the
$$@. I want to now use the gnu make but all my Makefiles which make
libraries use this feature. I bought the make book which tells me that
this feature is not supported in gnu make but I just wondered if anyone
could tell me how it should be rewritten.

The line I have is

$(OBJECTS): $(LIBRARY)($$(@F).o) $$(@F).c
