hanging indent

Is there a way of generating a hanging indent with Texinfo? (E.g., for
use in a list of book references that are not themselves `info' files?)

I experimented with this for a while using my djgpp port of Texinfo 4.0
using the @-commands that alter indentation, but I could not achieve
the desired `hanging' effect.
