/usr/local/bin/texi2dvi: pdftex: command not found
pdftex is not in your path. Maybe it isn't installed, maybe it's in
/usr/local/bin/, there's no way for anyone outside to know.
You should consult whoever set up TeX on your system ...
(Or you can search your system for "pdftex" ...)
