I installed the ferret gem and the AAF plugin and I've run in to a problem. I need to run an "aaf_install" script to set up the config file and the drb server start and stop scripts. I haven't found a way to execute a script via the file browser yet--is this something I can do by the console? I searched around on that as well and came up empty-handed.
Also, given that Ferret is usable now, do we leave the configuration file as-is in the plugin to use localhost port 9010 for the data server location? If someone is successfully using ferret and/or AAF in their project, could you perhaps post an "install" or "getting started" guide? I suspect it differs somewhat or requires more explanation than the one on the Ferret Trac site.
