Guys - We had some system-wide downtime today, as described in this thread. We know that downtime is definitely in the "not awesome, not at all" category.
Heroku is hitting some serious growth right now. Up until now we've been focusing all our efforts on making a really seamless deployment workflow. I think we've pretty much nailed that (though of course there's 1001 features we can't wait to add), so now we're turning our attention to scaling to meet the new load and general operational stability. As we work on stuff like building a status page (yeah I know, it's long overdue) and all the ops stuff that you do to chase that holy grail of 100% uptime, we're gonna hit a few growing pains such as today's little escapade. We appreciate your bearing with us as we continue to mature our product and our operation.
