on the usability side: I just tried adding a free extension (piggyback ssl) as a collaborator, and the experience was frustrating.
Tried a few times on the command line (got internal server errors without any more info, nothing on heroku logs), then went to heroku's site. kept thinking there was some problem with my app preventing it from being installed. decided to try the add-on page no the heroku site. went through the verification form, put in my credit card info grudgingly asking why I needed to do that on a free add-on (some text explaining it would help), and then when it was accepted, I clicked on the big activated ADD button, only to find out a collaborator can't add add-ons. how about a message just saying so right from the start (on both cli and web page)? 2010/1/14 Devyn Cairns <[email protected]>: > Haha, well, let's see if I can rephrase that.
