I had exactly the same problem a couple of weeks ago, and was told out that webrick (the default server) is pretty flaky in combination with new relic. I switched the app to run on unicorn (with the added bonus that performance seems better, though I have nothing to back that up), then had to add this as well to get everything working -> http://newrelic.com/docs/troubleshooting/im-using-unicorn-and-i-dont-see-any-data

If you're not using webrick then I have no idea :)

Hi all,

Looking for some advice, as I'm not getting much help between NewRelic and Heroku this week.

I recently moved my app to Cedar from bamboo. After I've done this, I've followed the instructions on the Heroku site for cedar (config file, etc). but I am not getting application performance data from my app. New Relic is, however, logging the deployments of code--which says to me that there's some configuration that is partially correct.

I'd love any advice. Heroku says to talk to NewRelic. NewRelic says that I need to show them the logs (which I don't have on Heroku) before I can do anything. The same config is configured for local developer mode, and on my local works fine.

Anyone?

William
