Hi,

I might be a bit behind the times but I've just noticed that the
envelopes and messages have been added to Draft 2 of the spec but also
that static class type mapping has changed as well as removing the
remote type.

I've also noticed that the spec has been split up into a protocol and
serialization grammar and that the proposal is due to be submitted to
the IETF.

Is there a synopsis of the current status or of these changes anywhere?

What changes should non-Java Hessian library implementors one be aware
of?

Is supporting Hessian 1 going to be phased out?

And please correct me if I'm wrong, but if you were using an
implementation based on the old 2.0 spec (i.e. using a protocol header
of 2.0), would this not then be incompatible with an implementation
that uses the revised spec but still publishes the 2.0 protocol header?

Thx,

Ben
