The current status is the draft on hessian.caucho.com.  Since the  
IETF style didn't have a change section, we didn't really have  
anywhere to put the updates.

For the serialization, it's mostly encoding tweaks at this point,  
moving bytecodes around.  Although, it looks like we need to add  
codes for Byte, Short, and Float, since the absence is causing  
trouble in Java.  In the normal case, those shouldn't be used.

The envelope section is much less stable.  We just added the  
streaming encoding, for example.

No, it's still a subset of Hessian 2.  For IETF, though, I'd thought  
that submitting fewer drafts would be a good idea, but it might be  
better to submit Hessian 1 as well, since it's easier to implement.

Yes.  We've been treating 2.0 as still in the draft stage, so until  
it's complete and sent-off, it'll be a bit unstable.
