Very interesting to see how compact the H2 protocol is compared to RMI.
I noticed that you comparison is based on varying sizes of a list
containing the same flat object. I'd be interested to see how the
comparison between H2 and RMI would look if you
1. Used repeated invocations of the same method in a long running
session, e.g. call your method with a size parameter of x n times and
measured the average response time (it could even be a size of 1).
2. Used nested objects in combination with the repeated invocations
rather than just flat objects.
