FORGET THE METAL !! Our 12ft x 8Ft + 6ft x 4ft attached sleeping node took about 8 - 10 rolls of 6" tape. You can pre-tape and fold 2 or 3 panels at a time for transportation. And, you should tape the bottom to the tarp. We were rock solid in the highest winds ( we were at 7:30 & F with the green laser beacon ). Don't be cheap with this stuff...you'll be happier.
Disassembly involves just cutting the tape with a razor. We're ready for next year!! Setup takes 3 people, but 2 can do most of the stuff. Takes at least half day. The best Playa stakes were heavy plastic 12"..don't know the brand. Second best are CIRCUS tent spikes...they have a 3" ring on the end , are about 2 ft long, and are easier to set than rebar. We are considering requesting a theme camp called 'Yurtistan', adjacent to the 'makn' bacon' crew from Sam Diego. Anyone interested?? FYI the 9000 BTU airconditioner was inadequate.
