Wow. I'd really, really like it if you could take some close up pictures, maybe even video of the Thermax HD unit - really show off the material, the lack of wear and tear.
I always just left the tape on mine and put new tape over it the following year, by the way :-) I really want to open up Thermax HD as The Right Thing To Do for the hexayurt - the durability, the better fire resistance, the sheer toughness. I never got to build one myself, because we couldn't get the materials from Dow. I am not alone in this ;) If you can do more to make people aware of how great it is, and explain how you sourced it, that would be *great*. Mebbe start a new thread on that, Bill?
