They're sturdy above the roofline. The wall edge adjacent to the ground can
be moved in the wind. I saw some bowing last year; nothing enough to overly
concern me but I went inside and moved some heavy pieces of furniture
against the walls just in case.

Someone last year suggested trenching to better brace those edges. Sounds
like a pain but if you're going to be there for two weeks, it might be
worthwhile. Really, I don't see how you'd easily, effectively backfill those
trenches, not with a tarp and the yurt walls already erected on top. Yeah, I
think I'll just go the heavy furniture route again.
