Two ways of thinking about this:

1> there's a lot we don't know
2> it's just a plywood shed

Basically, wherever possible, copy whatever standard practices are in your
area for building in these materials, just use a more efficient shape.
That's not to say there's nothing to innovate and nothing to learn, but most
of the time common materials and common practice is the way to start.

And do please document - we learn every time somebody does something new,
and that would be the second or third permanent hexayurt in use!
