If Bituthene tape is flashing tape, it is going to be messy. The backing is like tar, which is all over the packaging the tape is in that I saw in the store. I am sure it will be a huge mess after the playa. I did find a tape at Home Depot that is good for taping the edges. It is made by Nashua, FlexFix UL181B-FX Listed Tape. It looks like foil tape and is UV resistant, but it does not have a paper backing and it is thinner so it fills any bends or imperfections in the Insulation board and sticks very well. It is only $10 for 120yards. 1.89 inches wide. Hope that helps save some money.
