I meant for removing the foam dust that clings to everything after the initial cuts. That will totally defeat any adhesive.

In my experience, water is v. poor at removing Playa dust, unless it has vinegar in it. Perhaps a workbench brush?

You can clean the surface with paint thinner and a rag. Or just hose
the dust off the night before taping. No tape will stick properly when
the surface is covered with dust.

Hi everyone,

so a while back someone suggested to use gorilla tape in addition of
the dual filament tape.
Well using gorilla tape requires to clean up the surface with rubbing
alcohol and THEN it does not even stick properly.

The morale of the story is... stick to dual filament tape because
you'll save time and money on the long run.

:-) almost happy camper, few days to the playa :D
